General Manager - Sales (Education Industry)

As an ideal candidate, you’ll be a born leader with previous sales experience. Responsible for formulating and implementing the company's sales and marketing development strategies based on the strategic directions and targets of the business; lead the sales  development programs and initiatives, accountable for the deliverables and outcomes, act as a thought partner and advisor to the business lines in their own specific sales and marketing development activities. 

Objectives of Role

• Develop strategic plans for generating leads and sales.

• Review and improve organizational effectiveness by developing processes, overseeing employees, establishing a highly motivated work environment, and creating innovative approaches for improvement

• Uphold standards of excellence and soaring quality

• Seek out opportunities for expansion and growth by implanting and developing new sales processes.

• Provide guidance and feedback to help others strengthen specific knowledge/skill areas.

Responsibilities & Duties

• Oversee sales and marketing activities to achieve institutes revenue goals.

• Plan and assign daily workload to sales team.

• Interview, hire and train sales representatives.

• Evaluate performance of sales team and provide appropriate feedback.

• Provide guidance to sales representatives in their assigned duties.

• Develop new sales techniques for business growth and profitability.

• Understand customer needs and suggest changes in products to meet these needs.

• Identify potential customers and build strong relationship with existing customers.

• Represent institutes brand in sales conferences and trade shows.

• Identify selling strategies and opportunities to increase revenue.

• Evaluate current sales processes and recommend improvements.
